وغیرہ

Nazam Overview

Waghaira (وغیرہ) is an amusing yet incisive satirical poem written by renowned Pakistani poet and humorist Anwar Masood. With his signature comedic flair and mastery of linguistic peculiarities, the poet exposes the widespread conversational habit of using the word "waghaira" (etc.) to gloss over gaps in knowledge, avoid detail, and feign erudition.

Beneath the jovial rhythm and comical situations lies an insightful social critique encouraging clarity of thought, intellectual precision, and sincerity in speech. Our notes provide comprehensive stanza-by-stanza Tashreeh with Hawala-e-Shair, poet biography, and difficult word meanings (Alfaaz Maani) to assist students in composing well-rounded answers in board exams.

Together with the stanzas, this unit provides fully solved textbook exercises, central idea (Markazi Khayal), poetic nuances, and SLO-based objective MCQs. Students can use these notes to prepare thoroughly for tests and Punjab Board matric examinations.
