Chapter Overview

Chapter 6 of Class 11 Islamiat is titled ہدایت کے سرچشمے اور مشاہیر اسلام (Sources of Guidance and Eminent Personalities of Islam) and studies the great Islamic personalities who preserved and spread the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah after the Prophet ﷺ. The first topic, Khilafat-e-Rashida, covers the era of the four Rightly-Guided Caliphs — Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq ۓ, Hazrat Umar Farooq ۓ, Hazrat Uthman Ghani ۓ, and Hazrat Ali ۓ — examining their contributions to Islamic governance, justice, and the expansion of the Muslim state.

The second topic, Aima Ahl-e-Bait-e-Atahar (Imams of the Noble Household), introduces students to the Imams from the Prophet’s ﷺ blessed family, their scholarly contributions, and their central role in guiding the Muslim community in matters of faith and jurisprudence. This topic highlights the deep respect Islam places on the Prophet’s ﷺ household as a source of spiritual guidance and religious knowledge.

The third topic, Sufiya Karam Rahmatullah Alayhim (Revered Sufi Scholars), covers the role of Sufi saints in spreading Islam through their exemplary character, spiritual teachings, and service to humanity.
